Puzzles Childcare Centre
Learn through play
Puzzles is proud to be family-owned and operated. We hope to create an environment that is carefully designed to create a safe learning space that meets the needs of the children and parents.

We have availability starting August 1, 2025 (North Van)
Child-Centred Curriculum & Care
Our licensed facility accommodates 8 children (1-5 years old).
Research shows smaller centres develop happier children: a stronger sense of trust builds with consistent caregivers, children receive more time & attention, and develop strong relationships with their friends.

Emergent Curriculum
Each week we listen to children's interests and follow them by making that our weekly theme (ex. Dinosaurs, bugs, trains, etc.). We create exploratory art activities, read books, and do circle time to learn more about our theme.
Outdoor Learning
We bring children outdoors for a minimum of 2 hours daily (rain or shine!). Being outdoors has many calming benefits for children, and allows them to develop physically by running, climbing, jumping and more. We also bring the learning outside by: playing with water (did somebody say pool party?), observing plants, bugs, and animals, cooking in our mud kitchen, setting up our camping tent, and digging in the sandbox.
Music
We have a variety of instruments at the daycare that children can explore (ex. keyboard, drum, ukulele, shakers, and met-allophone) with weekly music classes facilitated by a qualified music teacher.
Field Trip
We bring children on field trips at our North Van location to libraries, soccer field, beach, farms, ice cream shop, and more. Children learn about how to travel by bus, new environments, and get to interact with the outside world.
Healthy Food
We know the importance of healthy eating habits at a young age, which is why our monthly fee includes a nutritious breakfast and snacks that follow the Canadian Food Guide.

Parent-Teacher Relationships
We understand the importance of teachers and parents having a relationship. We like to involve parents by having graduation and Christmas parties, inviting parents to volunteer on field trips, and more!
